ExploreMarvel comics shook the comic book world this week by announcing that Thor, the God of Thunder will actually become a SHE in the upcoming series of comic books. Even though Thor has always been a man the comic book legend leaves room for interpretations. The legend says that whoever wields the mighty hammer Mjolnir will become Thor.
And that’s not all, Marvel has also some big changes for Captain America and Iron Man. In November Marvel will launch their new comic book Superios Iron Man #1, which will send Tony Stark to San Francisco wearing a new Iron Man suit and with a different perspective on life. The comic book is written by Tom Taylor and drawn by Yildiray Cinar.
Also in November come the All New Captain America #1 where Steve Rogers will find himself unable to take the mantle of Captain America leaving the stars and stripes for someone else. Because the new Captain America appears to be African-America most fans think that Steve Rogers replacement will be Sam Wilson also known as Falcon. The new comic book is written by Rick Remender and with art by Stuart Immonen.
You think that’s big? just wait till you see that Marvel has in store for Avengers NOW! We’ll see more of Dr. Strange, Scarlet Witch and the Ant Man, characters that will soon make their debut on our big screens. We’ll also have something new about Deathlok and the Winter Soldier!
