When I first saw the Lego Movie I think I was the only person in the theater who didn’t brought kids with him and when the credits rolled I was the one leading leading the clapping. It was an awesome and super creative movie that made me feel like a kid again. If you haven’t seen it yet you have no idea what you’re missing. That’s if you ever played with Legos when you were a child.
The story follows Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary and perfectly average Lego minifigure thought to be the prophesied ‘Special’ and the key to saving the world. Morgan Freeman voices Vitruvius, a wizard and ‘Master Builder’ who is defeated by the villain Lord Business (Will Ferrell) but not before he foretells of a hero, the “Special” who will put an end to Lord Business’s dastardly plans. After Emmet unwittingly finds the ‘piece of resistance’ he teams up with Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) and some newfound friends in order to fulfill the prophecy.
The creators did a wonderful job putting all the classic things about Legos and making a new movie packed with humor. The voice acting was outstanding and I must say Liam Neeson was fantastic as the good cop/bad cop. I highly recommend this movie to all Lego lovers who have a passion to build and create something awesome and I also recommend these 20 Lego T-Shirts. Everything is awesome!
