“I basically watched Suspiria for this design. That movie is all about awesome colors and beautiful women. That’s what I wanted to do in this piece. I also hadn’t gotten a chance to draw that many women in my designs so this was the perfect opportunity.” - Matthew Skiff

Bloodletting

“For this one I wanted to see if I could make the most offensive design possible, or at least a design that my mom would be shocked to see. Decapitated goat heads, a half naked woman and a pentagram in the background…I think I got it. I also took the color scheme from the end scene in Suspiria where she meets the main witch at the end, I love that scene!” - Matthew Skiff

Hey Matthew, great work man! Truly inspiring designs, and I’ll have to check out Suspiria at some point. Looks like they’re shooting a remake next year so I’ll have to compare.

    Keep up the great work!
